How do I attack a monster?

You can initiate combat with a monster by casting an offensive spell on it, or moving close to it and right-clicking on them (when you have the Sword icon on the mouse pointer). If you have any attacks hotkeyed in the Action Bar, you can also use these to initiate combat.
