Note: You can also perform customised emotes! To do this, enter /em or /me followed by the text you want. Then that message appears in the chat log. You don't do an animation with these but it can be quite amusing!

Example: /me thinks [playername] is a waste of air

In the chat log, the message "[Yourplayername] thinks [playername] is a waste of air" appears!

Unfortunately these can only be understood by your own faction (sorry no really good PvP insults!)

Emotes can have a character animation, some even have a voice message that goes with them!

Note: Ignore List is basically the opposite - put people here you don't wish to hear from again!

OTHER USEFUL COMMANDS

Shift & Left-Click

This has a variety of uses:

1) To link an item from your inventory into chat, Shift & Left-click on it. This only works in these channels: Trade, Party, Whisper, Guild. Then other players can click on the link in the chat log and a stats box for the item will come up. Should always be used when trading magic items!

2) To create two separate stacks of an item. If an item stacks and you wish to divide that stack into 2 parts - Shift & Left click on the stack and a box will come up asking you how many you want to pick up. You can then move this stack to another bag/bank slot.

3) To buy items in bulk. At a vendor, if buying a bulk quantity of an item (especially useful when buying trade supplies/reagents) then shift & left click on the item in the vendor panel. A box will come up where you can enter a number from 2-20. This is how many of that item you will buy!

4) To loot all items from a corpse/resource node. If you are looting a corpse, shift & left click to loot all items at once. Also works if you are looting a Skinned corpse, herb or mineral node. Speeds up looting time.

Right Click

As well the above mentioned attack and interaction options, right clicking also allows you to perform actions from your action bars by right clicking the icons, use consumables from your inventory, or use right click effect items such as trinkets. If you have an equippable item in your inventory, right-clicking it will equip it.

Left Click

Left click allows you to pick up icons and move them around. This can include icons from your action bar. To drag, keeping holding left-click and move the icon to where you want it.

* You can destroy unwanted items by left-clicking and dragging them to empty space away from a bag/bank slot

* You can move items from one slot to another eg. from your bag to your bank or vice versa. Even put them on your action bars for ready use

* Move icons from your spell/ability book to your action bar, or to other slots on your action bars if so desired.
