Sentinel Talondras – Talondras is one of the refti, a titan-forged race crafted by Keeper Tyr to work in harmony with dragonkind. Fiercely loyal to their maker, the refti were sometimes sent to distant shores to carry out important missions. Sentinel Talondras was charged with defending the route to the disc holding Tyr’s memories, and is determined to keep the unworthy from laying claim to her maker’s legacy.

Important Sentinel Talondras Trash Tips and Tricks

Once you defeat Bromach, to the right of you will see the very first checkpoint that will allow you to teleport to this area upon death. Continue straightforward towards the Hall of the Keepers to face the next boss of the dungeon – Sentinel Talondras. Here is what you
should know about the non-boss-enemies on the way there:

  • Pay attention to Earthen Custodian’s frontal Cleave, as a tank, you must be positioned away from any melee members to prevent them from being cleaved. In addition, their auto-attacks will also apply Rending Slash, bleed damage over-time effect, it’s best to use mitigation at this point.
  • Refti Custodian sticks alongside Earthen Custodian but it’s a lot less dangerous, you only need to pay attention to Jagged Bite, which is a non-interruptible cast that applies a bleed damage over time on your tank. In addition, remove the Ancient Power buff from the Refti Custodian every time you see it.

  • Occasionally, Sentinel Talondras will cast Crushing Stomp, knocking players away, interrupting their casts and also dealing physical damage
    to all of them. Stop your cast at the end to prevent being spell locked.
  • Avoid soaking any Resonating Orb, this will significantly increase the difficulty of the fight.
  • On Mythic difficulty, the boss gains Unrelenting, which stacks, making this boss have a “soft” enrage. You want to save your cooldowns and kill it as quickly as possible.

Tank

  • The boss will cast Titanic Empowerment once she reaches 100 energy, it is important for you to clear her remaining stacks of Inexorable with the Resonating Orb before she gets close to 100 energy, so later on you can stun her with the last Resonating Orb on the Titanic Empowerment cast, preventing her from empowering.

Healer

  • When Sentinel Talondras casts Crushing Stomp, be prepared to top up your party quickly.
  • Use healer cooldowns when Earthen Shards bleed effect is going out (it will cast on random party member), this is a good time to suggest to your teammates to use their personal-defensive. There are several spells that can completely mitigate the Crushing Stomp effect, here are the most popular ways: Stoneform racial, Paladin’s Blessing of Protection or any other immunity.
