Tirion Fordring - Of Love and Family

ALONG THE WEST COAST of the Eastern Plaguelands, at the north of the Thondroril River and near the entrance to the Terrorweb Tunnel, sits the cottage of the self-exiled Tirion Fordring. He has a sad tale of his son, Taelan, and like many stories in WoW, it doesn't sound like it's destined for a happy ending. The only question is if there's anything you can do to change it.

This is the first of three quests -- Demon Dogs, Blood Tinged Skies, and Carrion Grubbage -- you need to complete before moving to the next step in Tirion's chain. Most of the mobs can be found near each other, so it's easy to do all three quests at once. Your task in Demon Dogs is to kill 20 Plaguehound Runts, 5 Plaguehounds and 5 Frenzied Plaguehounds.
Blood Tinged Skies (56)
Starts At: Tirion Fordring (EP)
Zones: Eastern Plaguelands
Kill 30 Plaguebats and return to Tirion Fordring.
Carrion Grubbage (56)
Starts At: Tirion Fordring (EP)
Zones: Eastern Plaguelands
Gather 15 slabs of Carrion Worm Meat from Carrion Grubs and Devourers and return to Tirion.
Redemption (56)

Having proven yourself to Tirion by completing the first three quests, listen as he tells the story of his son, Taelan, and the Scarlet Crusade.
Of Forgotten Memories (57)

Zones: Eastern Plaguelands
Tirion sends you to recover Taelan's hammer from the Undercroft, which is in the southwest Eastern Plaguelands. Open the loose dirt mound next to Tirion's grave to trigger the event, and Mercutio Filthgorger will spawn with 3 non-elite guards. Mercutio drops the hammer you need to complete the quest.

Recover the Symbol of Lost Honor from the pool in Northdale, Eastern Plaguelands.
Of Love and Family, part 1 (58)

You're sent to Caer Darrow to see if you can find any clues on the lost painting of Taelan and Karandra. You're looking for Artist Renfray, who's in a cottage outside the keep.
Of Love and Family, part 2 (60+)
Starts At: Artist Renfray - Caer Darrow (EP)
Zones: Stratholme (5-man)
Travel to the Scarlet Bastion in Stratholme (Live side), recover Artist Renfray's painting from the Archivist's room, and return it to Tirion. This must be done in a 5-man group.

Zones: Western Plaguelands
Travel to Uther's Tomb in the Western Plaguelands and show Tirion's Gift to Myranda the Hag.
Scarlet Subterfuge (60+)
Starts At: Myranda the Hag - Uther's Tomb (WP)
Zones: Western Plaguelands
Get the Scarlet Illusion from Myranda, travel to Hearthglen while under disguise, and deliver Tirion's Gift to Highlord Taelan Fordring. Hearthglen is in the northern WP, and Taelan can be found inside Mardenholde Keep. Note that you can't mount while disguised, and certain actions, like mining or opening a chest, may break the disguise.
In Dreams (63+)
Starts At: Taelan Fordring - Hearthglen (WP)
Zones: Western Plaguelands
Having delivered Tirion's Gift, escort Taelan out of Hearthglen. You're told to drop your disguise, but that's your option -- you can stay in disguise and watch Taelan take on everyone in sight, or you can drop the disguise and simply /assist Taelan, since he'll draw most of the aggro. When he reaches the tower south of Hearthglen, Taelan will get into another big fight, and you'll want to stay back a bit here -- just wait for Tirion to show up and watch the fireworks.
Once the coast is clear, talk to the elder Fordring for your choice of a few significant rewards. You can choose from: Mark of Fordring (+1% crit necklace), Ornate Adamantium Breastplate (807AC plate), Shimmering Platinum Warhammer (54DPS 2H mace), or Fordring's Seal (+5Int +4Sta +healing ring).
