Scholomance

AN ABBREVIATION FOR "school of necromancy," Scholomance is now quite literally a school of the undead, complete with tutors and one very nasty headmaster. Sorting out all the quests can be a lesson in itself. The entrance can be found in Caer Darrow, an island in the southeast of the Western Plaguelands -- right near the path from the Hinterlands.

Plagued Hatchlings (58+)
Starts At: Betina Bigglezink - Light's Hope Chapel, Eastern Plaguelands

Kill 20 Plagued Hatchlings and return to Betina Bigglezink. The Plagued Hatchlings are the whelps in the Great Ossuary, the room just before Rattlegore.
Healthy Dragon Scale (58+)
Starts At: Healthy Dragon Scale
Category: Scholomance
This "quest" becomes available after completing "Plagued Hatchlings." On subsequent trips to Scholomance, plagued hatchlings may drop Healthy Dragon Scales, which you can repeatedly bring to Betina Bigglezink to gain Argent Dawn reputation. These scales will drop in a 10-man raid.
Weldon Barov's chain

Barov Family Fortune (60+)
Starts At: Weldon Barov - Chillwind Point, Western Plaguelands
Category: Scholomance - 5-man
Go to Scholomance and recover the four deeds that make up the Barov family fortune: the deeds to Caer Darrow, Brill, Tarren Mill and Southshore. The four deeds can be found in: (1) the far left of the Reliquary (the first big room); (2) the central room that connects to The Great Ossuary / Viewing Room / Jandice Barov's area; (3) Ras Frostwhisper's laboratory; and (4) the Barov Family Vault where Alexei Barov lurks. These deeds can only be picked up in a 5-man group.
The Last Barov (62+ PvP)
Starts At: Weldon Barov - Chillwind Point, Western Plaguelands
Zones: Western Plaguelands
The followup to "Barov Family Fortune" requires you to travel to the Bulwark -- a Horde camp -- and assassinate Alexi Barov. On a PvE server, attacking Barov will flag you for PvP, making you vulnerable to any high-level Horde that may want to join the fight. Once Alexi is killed, take his head and return to Weldon Barov. The reward for this quest is the Barov Peasant Caller, which summons three servants to fight for you for a few seconds.
Eva Sarkhoff's chain

Doctor Theolen Krastinov, The Butcher (60+)
Starts At: Eva Sarkhoff - Caer Darrow, Western Plaguelands
Category: Scholomance - 5-man
Find the Butcher, Theolen Krastinov, and kill him. The Butcher is in one of the six rooms that make up the Headmaster's Study: heis' in the center room on the upper level. Once he's killed, burn the remains of Eva and Lucien Sarkhoff and return to the ghost of Eva Sarkhoff to complete the quest. There's no special trick to beating Krastinov; just beat him down.
Krastinov's Bag of Horrors (60+)
Starts At: Eva Sarkhoff - Caer Darrow, Western Plaguelands
Category: Scholomance - 5-man
Find Jandice Barov, kill her, recover Krastinov's Bag of Horrors from her corpse, and return it to Eva Sarkhoff. Jandice is in the Sunken Catacombs of Scholomance, which can be found by taking a right at the main hub room after the Chamber of Summoning and heading downstairs. Jandice has the ability to create multiple illusions of herself, but otherwise is a simple fight. The Bag of Horrors contains the "Blood of Innocents" needed to summon Kirtonos the Herald in the next quest.
Kirtonos the Herald (60+)
Starts At: Eva Sarkhoff - Caer Darrow, Western Plaguelands
Category: Scholomance - 5-man
Kill Kirtonos the Herald in Scholomance. Kirtonos is summoned at The Porch, adjacent to the Chamber of Summoning, using the Blood of Innocents at the Porch. When you place the Blood in the brazier, Kirtonos will fly in and start the fight, which is fairly straightforward. Kirtonos will occasionally shapeshift, and has an occasional knockback -- just fight on the stairs with your back to the wall and you won't risk getting knocked off the Porch.
Once you've turned in this quest, you may be able to pick up more blood every time you kill Jandice Barov, the Butcher, or the Blood Steward that patrols the Reliquary near the Scholo entrance.
Ras Frostwhisper's chain

When you complete "Kirtonos the Herald" in Eva Sarkhoff's chain above, she gives you "Spectral Essence," a trinket which allows you to see undead roaming around Caer Darrow. Among these undead is Magistrate Marduke, who resides on the upper level of the ruin that houses the Scholomance entrance, and gives you the Ras Frostwhisper-related quests below.
The Human, Ras Frostwhisper (62+)
Starts At: Magistrate Marduke - Caer Darrow
Zones: Western Plaguelands, Arathi
Travel to the ruins of Stromgarde in the Arathi Highlands and search for a Keepsake of Remembrance. The Keepsake can be found in a number of places, including the top of the Ogre tower. Once you find one, return it to Magistrate Marduke at Caer Darrow.
The Dying, Ras Frostwhisper (62+)
Starts At: Magistrate Marduke - Caer Darrow
Zones: Western Plaguelands, Eastern Plaguelands
A simple delivery quest, travel to Light's Hope Chapel in the Eastern Plaguelands and show Leonid Barthalomew the Keepsake of Remembrance.
Menethil's Gift, pt 1 (62+)
Starts At: Leonid Barthalomew - Light's Hope Chapel
Category: Stratholme Undead - 10-man
Inside Baron Rivendare's chamber, at the end of the Stratholme Undead run, there's an orange pentagram symbol on the ground. Click this to complete the quest and get Menethil's Gift. (This can be done in a 10-man raid.)

Another delivery quest, take the Soulbound Keepsake to Leonid Barthalomew at Light's Hope Chapel.

Starts At: Leonid Barthalomew - Light's Hope Chapel
Zones: Eastern Plaguelands, Western Plaguelands
Return to Magistrate Marduke at Caer Darrow with the keepsake.
The Lich, Ras Frostwhisper (63+)
Starts At: Magistrate Marduke - Caer Darrow
Category: Scholomance - 5-man
Find Ras Frostwhisper in The Laboratory in Scholomance, use the Soulbound Keepsake on his undead form, and kill him after he turns mortal. It takes a while for the Keepsake to turn Frostwhisper mortal, which can be a challenge as he knocks everyone around. Frostwhisper also returns to full health and mana after becoming human, and will continue to heal himself during the battle, making it an even bigger challenge than his undead form.
When Ras is dead, take his head and bring it to Magistrate Marduke. Rewards for this quest are the Darrowshire Strongguard (2153 AC shield) as well as one of the following: Warblade of Caer Darrow (57DPS 2H Sword), Crown of Caer Darrow (cloth helm), or Darrowspike (41DPS 1H dagger).
Dawn's Gambit

This long chain starts with a seemingly harmless low-50's quest chain in the Burning Steppes. Later, however, this opens things up so you can do two egg collection quests in Upper Blackrock Spire and "Dawn's Gambit" in Scholomance.
Broodling Essence (52)

Using the Draco-Incarcinatrix 900, collect 8 Broodling Essences from the Burning Steppes and return them to Tinkee Steamboil.
Felnok Steelspring (52)
Starts At: Tinkee Steamboil - Flame Crest (Burning Steppes)
Zones: Burning Steppes, Winterspring
Travel to Winterspring and give Tinkee's Letter to Felnok Steelspring at Everlook.
Chillwind Horns (54)
Starts At: Felnok Steelspring - Everlook (Winterspring)
Zones: Winterspring
Bring 8 Uncracked Chillwind Horns to Felnok Steelspring. The horns drop off many of the chimaera in Winterspring.
Return to Tinkee (54)

Bring Felnok's package to Tinkee in the Burning Steppes.
Tinkee Steamboil (60)
