What races can be a Death Knight?

Every race may be a Death Knight.

Who is eligible to create a Death Knight?

Players who possess at least one level 55 character on a Wrath of the Lich King-enabled account are eligible for Death Knight creation. Death Knights may currently only be created on realms on which a level 55 character is present.

Note: Newly-created accounts which upgrade directly to The Wrath of the Lich King will be unable to access the Death Knight class until a character on the account reaches level 55.
