Supremus, an abyssal, is the second boss in Black Temple.
Phase 1 Abilities
- Molten Flame: Blue-flamed fire sent along the ground in a straight line toward random players that deals 3325 to 3675 fire damage every 1 second while stood on. Ability used every 20 seconds.
- Hurtful Strike: A massive melee ability applied to the second highest on his aggro list. If there are no other melee targets in range, it will be performed on the main tank instead.
Phase 2 Abilities
- Gaze: Supremus will target a random player and follow that target around for 10 seconds at 90% of normal movement speed. Switches targets after 10 seconds.
- Molten Punch: Once a targeted player is within a 40 yard range, Supremus will do a knockback ability for 5250 damage.
- Volcanic Geyser: Emoting the ground begins to crack open, Supremus will summon small volcanoes that spit out blue flames for 4163 to 4837 fire damage in a 15 yard radius.
General Tips
- While in Phase 2, if you are not being gazed by Supremus, make sure to go all out on DPS. Aggro is not an issue until the switched phase. If you are melee, stay at a distance right before he chooses another target and then resume damage until the next target is about to be picked.
- During Phase 2 the healers are watching both the target being gazed and any anyone within range of volcanoes. Heal over time (HoT) spells and shields work wonders here.
- Everyone should have healthstones and health pots to help survive Volcanic Geysers.
